Like a car wheel, we all have good times and bad times. Like a box of chocolates, we'll never know what we're going to get. These kinds of things happen to all of us, whether it is an ordinary day or the days of our long planned vacation. So just to have a heads up on things, here are some bad stuff that may happen during your journeys: It suddenly rains. How dreadful it must be when you're hurrying to leave the house to catch the plane then the rain unexpectedly starts pouring hard. So hard that they have to delay or cancel your flight. Or just when you thought you'd be getting a tan at the beach, all you see upfront are dark skies. Too bad… Your friend or friends may suddenly bail on you the last minute. It is just so irritating how some people you expect fall short on their word. This is so frustrating especially when you have been planning for the trip for too long. Good if there are still others who are going along on the trip, but what if you are left with just yourself to go through the whole adventure? How boring… When out of the blue you get sick. Sometimes, your tummy is not too good at keeping up with the high seas. Boats could rock like a spinning wheel, airplanes could have crazy turbulence and all you'd like to do is teleport to another dimension. Accidents can happen. The world is so full of surprises that even when you've been very careful in planning for your voyage bad luck comes along. Hopefully, the accident doesn't become something awful that you'd wish you never even got out of the house. You may realize you forgot your wallet. It's funny when these things happen. But when it does, just pray that the people you are with will help you with the expenses. You'll be in too much trouble if you don't have someone with you who will lend you some cash. Quite often you find out that the picture in the brochure is so much different from the actual place you're spending your vacation on. This is the most maddening experience of all since you have used up money and time to get to this place and it ends up disappointing you. You feel like suing the owner for misrepresentation or for whatever reason hoping that it will lessen the dissatisfaction and anger. In every bad thing that may come across, you should always look for the silver lining. Meaning, you should always try to look at the brighter side of things. Though it may not be as bright as you would want it to be and even if there is added stress, it's best if you keep our composure. You cannot panic and create an even more stressful environment. Things always happen for a reason. Things could go a lot worse if you create havoc. When you're down, there is no place else to go but up. Just keep your cool. |
